Payfer lets you pay for apps by how much you use them, instead of by the month.
Some apps cost money every time you use them. Answering a question with an AI model, running a search or making an image all have a real cost. Usually that cost is bundled into a subscription, so you pay the same whether you use the app every day or once. With Payfer, an app charges only for what you actually use, as little as $0.005 at a time.
How it works
- Add moneyPut money into your Payfer balance with a card. One balance works with every app that uses Payfer.
- Set a limitWhen an app asks to charge you, you choose the most it can spend each month.
- Use the appAs you use its paid features, the app takes small amounts from your balance. It can never go over your limit.
- Stay in controlYour dashboard shows every charge. Lower a limit or stop an app from charging you at any time.
Why it’s different
- No subscriptionsYou pay for what you use, and nothing when you don’t.
- One accountSign in with your email in any app that uses Payfer. No new card for each one.
- PrivateApps get an ID for you, not your email, and can’t see which other apps you use.
- Your limitsAn app can’t charge more than you allowed, and limits reset every month.
For developers
If your app has costs that grow with use, Payfer lets you charge for that use without building billing. Add a button that asks people to connect, then charge from your server with one call. You keep your own sign-in, providers and interface; Payfer handles the payment account, funding, limits and settlement.
